Every family signs the same agreement. We would rather be plain about it up front than have the conversation in a parking lot in July.
Parents do not initiate contact with coaches within 48 hours of the final game of an event or tournament.
Nothing useful gets decided in the hour after a loss. After 48 hours, a coach will take any conversation a parent wants to have — and take it seriously.
Coaching contracts, cage rentals and tournament entries are committed in advance against the full roster. Player fees are not refundable for any reason, including a player leaving mid-season.
A $50 penalty applies to any late payment. Families who hit a genuine hardship should talk to us before the due date — we would far rather work something out than chase an invoice.
Innings and position are earned through preparation and performance. We will always explain a decision to a player directly. We will not negotiate a lineup with a parent.
Players, parents and coaches represent APEC at every event. Umpires get respect, opponents get respect, and the dugout gets cleaned up before we leave it.
Missed work shows up eventually. Let your coach know in advance about conflicts — school, family, another sport — and we will plan around them where we can.
